1972-01 Master Wonjeong began a "One Hundred-Day Practice" for the establishment of the Chongji Buddhist Order.
1972-08

Propagation Center opened at 391-5 Sangbong-dong, Tongdaemun-gu, Seoul.

Opening Ceremony for the Founding of the Chongji Buddhist Order

1978-01 Construction of Head Quarters Building at 776-2 Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
1982-09 Founding Master Wonjeong passed away.
1988-09 

Establishment of Daedong Educational Foundation and began operating Donghae Middle School in Pusan

1990-06 Became a permanent member of the Korean Buddhist Order Union
1990-07 Became a trustee member of BBS (Buddhist Broadcasting System)
1992-11 Home for elderly masters constructed
1994-03

Became a trustee member of BTN (Buddhist Television Network) 

1995-10 Began Publishing Chongji Weekley News
1996-02

Became a permanent member of the Committee for the Enhancement of Friendship between Korean and Japanese Buddhists

Establishment of the Chongji Public Buddhist Academy for the Education in Buddhist Doctrine and the First Consecration Ceremony for Public

Establishment of the Consumer Protection Organization and the Buddhist Social Welfare Committee

1998-02 Opening of the Tumbler Center for Retraining of the Unemployed
